While players of Grand Theft Auto can expect another exciting year of content on PS4 and Xbox One, the downside means that we have to wait for more news on the release date of GTA 6. Take-Two Interactive only talked about the massive impact GTA 5 and GTA Online had on the franchise and how it continues to sell well on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
This was evidenced by the recurring cost of the game, which Take-Two confirmed was still very strong.
And Sony has just confirmed that GTA 5 is the most downloaded PS4 game on PlayStation Store in January. It is the second month in a row.

Strauss Zelnick, CEO of Take-Two, recently released an update, including Dan Houser, who has left the company.
In conversation with Jim Cramer from CNBC , Zelnick was asked if Dan Houser was the creative genius behind Grand Theft Auto.
Zelnick replied: "First of all we are very happy about so many creative geniuses and as you know we always describe the team.
"Sam Houser founded Rockstar Games over 20 years ago and has been part of the company since then. He is president of the label.
"Dan was Vice President of Creative and has been on an extended vacation since last spring. He has decided to go ahead and wish him luck."
"We really appreciate their contributions and there are more than 2,000 members on the Rockstar team, so we really believe it is a team sport and Sam Houser is a great player coach."
It's great to learn more about the Rockstar team and the level of its current staff, even if we don't hear anything directly from GTA 6.
Another interesting observation from Zelnick concerned the launch of the new PS5 and Xbox Series X consoles in 2020.
He described it as a larger, wider canvas for painting, with the two consoles of the PS4 and Xbox One having to be big steps ahead.
The developers who work for Take-Two studios are excited about what they can bring to the screen with this new technology, and this certainly indicates that Take-Two is preparing to a great extent for the movement of the next generation ,
Follow other Zelnick comments during the February investor call on the AAA game portfolio, which is valid until 2020.
Zelnick was asked if the world could count on a new AAA game in 2020, since Take-Two strives to do so every year.
His answer was not directly related to the Grand Theft Auto franchise, but suggested that TT2 could lose this lens for a few years.
At the meeting, Zelnick said: "Then, as always, you will hear our first outlook for the '21 fiscal year in May, and our labels will of course still bring our products to market.
"As you rightly emphasized, we have set our strategy to have a solid release timeline, the two iterations of the beloved franchisees.
"We have 11 franchises sold in at least 5 million units in a single launch, new intellectual property and are working on the strongest portfolio in our history.
"Even so, we haven't always been able to achieve our goal of having a solid frontline release schedule every year."
Added: "And of course we will continue to develop our business with these new front-line versions at the same time. Since we are a company that depends on our creative teams to make products as perfect as possible, we have to be ready with them To live imponderables of product deliveries.
"And that means that we will sometimes have thin front years. But even in these early years we were able to achieve very good financial results."
