GTA 6 update: new Grand Theft car could be earlier than you think (Image: ROCKSTAR GAMES) One of the biggest puzzles of the games is what...
One of the biggest puzzles of the games is what Rockstar Games plans to release next and whether the RDR2 follow-up will be GTA 6 or not. The fans of Grand Theft Auto currently endure the longest wait for a new entry in the series, which currently has almost six and a half. GTA 5 was released in 2013 before heading to PS4 and Xbox One the following year. Rockstar launched Red Dead 2 in October 2018.
It was expected that after the launch of RDR2, Rockstar Games would announce what their next project would be and if it would be a new Grand Theft Auto.
But 2019 came and went without any reference to official news about whether Rockstar's next box office success will be GTA 6 or not.
However, it is now 2020 fans of Grand Theft Auto expect Rockstar Games to soon break its silence about the next title the developers will release.
There are many rumors about GTA 6 and there are rumors that it could be released in 2020.
One claimed in particular that GTA 6 will be an exclusive planned launch for the PS5 and that Sony paid a lot of money to secure this deal.
This could explain why there was a radio silence in GTA 6, as could be announced with PlayStation 5.
And fans who are waiting for a release date for GTA 6 sooner or later may have received good news.
A new job list for Rockstar Games is looking for candidates to test the alpha and beta versions of the games.
It is not clear whether this list of jobs for a "technical civil engineer" is linked to GTA 6 or not.
But it could indicate that the next version of Rockstar Games is more advanced than fans might think.
The connection between the two is that rumor has it that GTA 6 will be set up in Vice City, the fake version of Rockstar in Miami.
Interestingly, the day after the release of Super Bowl, the website domain that Take Two bought for GTA 6 was updated.
The news was kindly provided by the GTA 6 Reddit website, which describes this discovery.
Whois.domaintools.com shows that GrandTheftAuto6.com was updated on February 3rd, a day after the Kansas City Chiefs won the 2020 Super Bowl.
Fans wondered if this could be a sign that a GTA 6 reveal is looming on the horizon.
While some fans have seen this as a sign that a GTA 6 announcement may come soon, others are not convinced.
Among those in the last camp were editors who pointed out that other Rockstar Games websites were also updated on the same day.
A Redditor wrote: "I was just researching and it turned out that Bully2.com, MidnightClub2.com, GTAV.com, GtaIV.com and RockstarGames.com were also updated on the same day on February 3, 2020."
If these rumors that GTA 6 is an exclusive version for PS5 are true, we could find out more next month.
The PS5 disclosure event was originally said to have taken place in February, but it is now believed that this presentation will take place in March.
